Summer is coming to an end. I'm noticing crisper, cooler mornings as the sun rises along with telltale signs like the antiquing hydrangea, the flurry of dahlias, and the chirp of the crickets.
It’s so pretty to watch the transition and it makes a perfect backdrop to our love sign that stands proudly at the top of the fields. The letters are even more special because they were made for us by Candace Carrier and Blacksburg High School agriculture students! It’s a flag of arrival to the farm and is now a part of Virginia LOVEworks. Folks far and wide visit Virginia and travel to different themed love signs from this one state list.

Our state slogan is “Virginia is for lovers” so it’s only appropriate we include flower lovers too. Make scouting out love signs one of your travel to-dos and if you are around… this weekend is our first community decorating event where we will adorn our sign with floral magic together. Remember this from Flower Fair? It’s so much fun and it’s free! You can also check out the grounds and visit the Farm Shop. We have so much to do out here in a field of love.
