Let's Learn About Plants!
We developed The Happy Box to bring fresh flowers from our farm directly to your doorstep in a fun, interactive way! Each version of The Happy Box is a little different, but always includes fresh flowers and an Interactive Flower Project that allows you to connect with nature and learn something new along the way.
The Happy Box's Interactive Flower Project was born when our new normal meant we had to not only keep ourselves entertained, but also our new co-workers, who happen to be four littles between the ages of 4 and 10. With the help of 4th grade science teacher and fellow flower head, Monica Naugler, we created the Interactive Flower Project to help break through the boredom with flower-filled activities that are applicable to all ages.
About Monica
Monica has a Bachelor's degree in Middle Level Education with certifications in both Science and Language Arts and a Master's in Teaching Mathematics and Science K-8. A fan of all things green and growing, she loves using nature to help her students understand the world around them. She also runs a girls STEAM club after school and is currently helping to build and grow its new school greenhouse and garden. You can find her on Instagram @teachersplant.
