Fall flower for the last few weeks

I can’t believe we’re already halfway through September! Time really does fly on the farm, especially when we’re having as much fun as we did last weekend. Our Flower Field Day was everything we hoped it would be and more. Watching friends, old and new, wander the rows, filling endless cups with fresh blooms, and laughing as the bouncy house became the star attraction was pure joy. And don’t worry, if you missed it this time, the bouncy house will definitely be making a comeback.

There’s still a little more time to come soak in the flower fields before the frost arrives, and you won’t want to miss it. The dahlias have finally hit their stride this year, and they’re showing off in a big way.

On top of all the beauty blooming here, the whole farm team is still floating on cloud nine. We were absolutely thrilled to see our heirloom chrysanthemums featured online with Better Homes and Gardens! To have our mums in the national spotlight feels like such an honor, and I hope you’ll take a moment to read the article. Better yet, snag a few plants for your own garden, and you’ll quickly see why these flowers have stolen our hearts.

And if you’re as fascinated with mums as we are, you won’t want to miss this year’s Virtual Mum Summit. We’ve been putting in extra hours behind the scenes to create a lineup that’s shaping up to be one of our very best. There’s so much to share about these incredible plants, and we can’t wait to learn and celebrate together.

The truth is, this time of year can be exhausting. The weeds grow taller than we’d like to admit, and the to-do list feels never-ending. But every note of encouragement, every kind word you share, keeps us pushing forward. We may be sweaty and covered in dirt, but we’re also so very proud of what we’ve accomplished this season with you right there beside us.

Here’s to savoring the last few weeks of flowers, the excitement of what’s ahead, and the joy of growing together.

XOXO, Jess
