Join us at Harmony Harvest Farm for an exclusive master class led by renowned floral designer TJ McGrath. This full-day experience is designed for professional florists, farmer-florists, and serious flower enthusiasts looking to refine their skills, elevate their artistry, and make meaningful connections within the industry.
Throughout the day, you’ll work directly with TJ to explore creative, budget-savvy approaches to floral design. Learn to do more with less, stretching your flower budget without sacrificing style or impact. You’ll start by crafting a stunning arrangement, then take on the challenge of deconstructing it to create something entirely different using only the original materials. This hands-on exercise is designed to push your creativity, refine your techniques, and help you see the hidden potential in every stem; a valuable skill in today’s economy, where every flower needs to go further.
TJ will also share insights on floral photography, setting up his camera to demonstrate how he captures his designs for maximum impact, helping you tell your floral story visually.
Jessica Hall, co-founder of Harmony Harvest Farm, will guide you through a tour of our fields, sharing insights into farm-to-florist relationships, sustainable sourcing, and the art of working with locally grown flowers. This is a unique opportunity to understand the journey from seed to centerpiece, deepening your connection to the flowers you work with every day.
A seasonal lunch, featuring fresh ingredients from the surrounding area, will be provided and thoughtfully prepared to complement your day of creativity and connection.
Please Note: The workshop will be held on August 25th at our working flower farm. Please dress accordingly for the heat and whatever weather arises, as you’ll be spending much of the day outside in the elements. Tickets are non-refundable.
