Our Mid-Bloomers Mix is a selection of mid-season beauties, curated from some of our favorite varieties on the farm. Each box includes 5 heritage (also known as heirloom) mum plants, randomly chosen from 10 possibilities. You could get varieties like Crimson Tide, Kimmie, King’s Pleasure, Mancetta Sunset, Molly Lambert, Oriental Night, Sally, Fleur De Lis, Gertrude, or Whisp of Pink! These mid-bloomers hit their stride when the weather starts to cool but before the frost sets in.
The bloom times are based on zone 6B/7A:
- Early: September 11 - October 21
- Mid: October 22 - November 3
- Late: November 4 - November 14 (or later)

About Our Heirloom Mums
At Harmony Harvest Farm, we’ve got a soft spot (okay, maybe an obsession) for heirloom chrysanthemums. Our curated collection includes football mums, heritage mums, and other rare varieties of garden mums that we grow with care on our family farm in Virginia. These mums for sale are famous for their vibrant colors, wild petal shapes, and long-lasting beauty. From sunny yellow chrysanthemums to bold green chrysanthemums, each variety has its own personality, and we think you’ll love getting to know them.
Instead of sending full-grown plants, we ship rooted cuttings otherwise known as plugs. Why? Because it gives growers a healthy start and flexibility to plant and grow their chrysanthemums at home. Whether you’re after spider mums, football mums, or classic beauties like chrysanthemum morifolium and chrysanthemum grandiflorum, these heirloom mums are bred for both performance and a little bit of wow factor.
The best part? Our heirloom mums are perennials, which means that with a little winter care, they can return year after year. If you’ve been wondering where to buy perennial chrysanthemums, this is your sign.
Each heirloom mum plant is started in a 50-count ellepot, designed to support strong root growth and easy planting in garden beds or containers. And because we care about doing things right, we work with the USDA and state agriculture authorities to make sure all of our heirloom mums meet inspection requirements. You can

Important Delivery Information
- All mum plants will ship in Spring 2026 once each chrysanthemum plug has developed strong roots. These rooted cuttings are shipped via two-day service or are available for on-farm pickup at Harmony Harvest Farm.

You’ll receive an email with tracking once your heirloom mums are on the way. Shipping dates cannot be changed, and orders cannot be held. If you won’t be home, we suggest recruiting a friendly neighbor to receive your package.
- Mum plants must be unpackaged immediately.
- Any issues with your heirloom mums must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Orders cannot be changed or combined.
