Get ready for three days of nonstop chrysanthemum presentations! The Mum Summit is where growers, designers, and flower lovers come together virtually to celebrate, learn, and totally geek out over mums.
Last year, we took you behind the scenes with tours of Longwood Gardens, the Nothern Virginia Chrysanthemum Show (one of the oldest in the country!), and Evergrow (the local greenhouse that helps us propagate our heritage mum cuttings.) We explored bonsai mums, landscape growers, and growing mums as cut flowers, plus shared expert tips on design, cultivation, and everything in between.
Whether you're here to grow better mums, design with confidence, or simply revel in the beauty of these iconic blooms, the Mum Summit is the place to be. Mark your calendars for November 13th - 16th!
Over three days, we’ll share fresh content for growers, designers, and mum enthusiasts of all kinds. Here’s a peek at what’s in store:
Content Sneak Peak:
Design Showdown – Abbey from Blackmore, Jimmy from Greensinner, and Kelley from The Floral Source each create their own unique designs with the same chrysanthemums.
Growing Across Climates – Hear from Jonalyn Carver in Florida and Sunny Meadows Flower Farm on how they adapt mum growing to their environments.
Pests + Problems – The not-so-pretty side of mum growing, with practical strategies to tackle the most common issues.
From Cutting Back to Waking Up – Potting tips, overwintering advice, and setting your mums up for a strong season.
Virtual Field Trips – Take a behind-the-scenes look at the Northern Virginia Chrysanthemum Show, Longwood Gardens’ conservatory, and a sped-up walkthrough of production-level harvesting here on the farm.
And of course, we’ll end each day with a live Q+A session; your chance to ask anything mum-related.

This Virtual Summit will be hosted using our courses platform with new content published each day during the summit. We will host all of our live segments using GoTo Meeting and links to join will be provided in the event dashboard. Please note that we're a small farm with a big passion for chrysanthemums and are working with the resources we can to host this event. We promise that as it grows the production value will improve, but today, we're just a scrappy group of girls with some iPhones and a whole lot of love for chrysanthemums.
