Foundry Worker

Floral Genius is the only US maker of metal flower holders and is seeking a Foundry Worker to assist in the metal creation of their products. This position will report to the Production Manager and assist in each step of the process including casting, cleaning, and painting. Floral Genius is a small family own and run operation that is looking for dependable assistance to fabricate our product line.

General Job Duties

• Hand set pin plates
• Cast metal flower holders
• Clean casted products to prepare for sale or paint
• Paint cleaned products
• Adhere to strict safety protocol
• Keep workshop clean and organized
• Maintain quality standards
• Maintain daily time study records

Job Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds
• Work well individually and perform repetitive tasks without issue
• Follow strict safety guidelines
• Stand for extended periods of time
• Work in a non-climate controlled environment

Monday - Friday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Modified schedule during first two weeks of training.

One week paid vacation on accrual starting after 90 days. Additional three days of PTO up front after one year. Paid birthday off.
