Whew! July on the farm is no joke, y’all. It’s the kind of hot that makes your glasses fog up the moment you step outside and turns harvesting flowers into a full-blown sweat session before the sun even fully rises. We’ve been hustling hard in the early mornings, cutting blooms while the air is still bearable, and then juggling rainstorms, fall planting, and what feels like a never-ending army of weeds all afternoon.
It’s a wild time of year (beautiful, yes) but also brutal. Between the heat waves and the unpredictability of pop-up thunderstorms, we made the decision to skip our usual Flower Fair this July. As much as we love welcoming everyone to the farm during the summer, we also know no one enjoys melting in a field, no matter how magical the flowers are.

But don’t worry, we’ve been cooking up something special.
We’re beyond excited to invite you to a brand-new kind of farm experience this fall, called Flower Field Day. On Saturday, September 13, we’re hosting a full day of fun, flowers, and hands-on creativity right here at Harmony Harvest. It’s going to be an unforgettable opportunity to really soak in the beauty of the farm, from strolling through the fields and picking your own blooms to getting your hands into some playful floral design with me. It’s a day for flower lovers, families, and anyone craving a little time outside surrounded by color, creativity, and joy.
We’ll be sharing more details soon, but for now, mark your calendars. September is shaping up to be something truly special, and we can’t wait to see you here on the farm.
