Well, it happened — the farm had its first killing frost. Zap, bang, gone. Just like that, the fields are fried and the beauty we’ve been soaking in all season has tucked itself away until next year.
After a whirlwind summer of welcoming folks out to the farm and gardens, we’re feeling that bittersweet mix of relief and nostalgia. Us farmers could certainly use the break, but we’re already missing the laughter, the curious conversations, and the joy your visits bring. Watching you all wander through the rows, arms full of blooms, makes every ounce of work worth it.

This year was a big one for our Pick-Your-Own operation. We switched things up and tried something totally new — running it as a self-serve stand and keeping the farm open seven days a week, dawn to dusk. Honestly, we weren’t sure how it would go… but you showed up in droves! You loved having the freedom to visit on your own schedule, explore every corner of the farm, and experience it at your own pace. It was such a joy to see so many of you connecting with this place we love while we kept right on farming around you.

Your enthusiasm and support have truly inspired us. We’re already planning next year’s crops and dreaming up ways to open even earlier — with an even wider variety of flowers for you to discover and pick.
And while the fields may be sleeping, you don’t have to wait a whole season to enjoy fresh Harmony Harvest blooms! Our heirloom mum bouquets are still shipping, bringing a bit of autumn’s magic straight to your doorstep. Or, if you’re already feeling the holiday spirit, you can get a jump on the season by preordering your holiday wreath — hand-crafted right here on the farm with love and a little sparkle.
Giving our community a space to slow down, connect with the land, and feel welcome has been more rewarding than we could have imagined. Thank you for making this one of the best seasons Harmony Harvest has ever had. We couldn’t have done it without you.

We hope you’ll come see us again next year. We’ll have fresh flowers, muddy boots, and plenty of smiles waiting for you.
XOXO, Jess
