Our team is growing!
Jessica Hall
It’s the middle of March, and my to-do list is already a mile long. Between cleaning the house, catching up on laundry, and keeping up with everything on the farm, I sometimes wonder how I’ll manage it all. We’ve been full throttle prepping spring field beds for planting, potting up baby perennials while waiting for their permanent spots, and filling the greenhouses and high tunnels with rows and rows of tiny spring crops.
At the same time, we’re juggling spring supply orders, checking off deliveries, and getting the farm ready for an exciting year ahead. March always feels like the month when everything starts to break wide open. I remind myself (and anyone willing to listen) that we won’t ever get it all done exactly when we want, but we will get it done. Watching our tight-knit team in action makes me so proud. Every day, I see what amazing things we can accomplish together.

I also love seeing the team grow. There have been some incredible growth moments for our staff, and while it’s bittersweet when someone moves on, it’s also a moment of pride to see them step into new opportunities. Our lead grower, Hope, is leaving this month after years of helping us grow amazing crops. It’s going to be strange not seeing her every day, but we’re cheering her on as she starts this next chapter, while leaving space for someone new to join our farm family.

With one door closing, another opens. Along with our seasonal part-time flower field roles, we’re now looking for a dedicated full-time farmer–someone ready to grow with us as we continue refining production at Harmony Harvest. Most business owners might feel stress or fear losing a key role at such a busy time. Not me. Not us. We see this as a wonderful opportunity to welcome someone new and share everything we’ve built here.
So here’s my question: Do you know anyone looking for a new journey, direction, or place to grow? If so, help me check something off my endless to-do list and send them my way!
XOXO, Jess
P.S. Curious what kind of company we are? Here’s our mission, vision, values, and the guiding principles I share first with anyone who wants to join our team.
